Linda Gail Floyd, 65, of Glasgow, Virginia died Saturday, September 19, 2020 at her home.

Born November 5, 1954 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Everett Lee Snider and Gladys Staton Steele.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Williams; grandparents, Charles and Anna Staton, and in-laws, Barry Floyd, Roger Whitehead, and Harry Floyd.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Wayne Floyd Sr.; her children, Christy Hensley (Michael) and Kenneth Floyd Jr. (Jen); grandchildren, Mercy, Kimmie (Travis), Mikey (Trinity), Cassy, Cadence, April, Logan and Lucca; great-grandson, Tyler; sister, Marilyn Whitehead; brother, Larry Barger; in-laws, Mildred Floyd, Sharon (Bernard) Moulton, Jodi Floyd and Diane Worthington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Michael Moyers officiating.

Linda fought courageously against cancer for four years. She will be missed by her family and a host of friends, and animal companions, Duke and Scarlett.
