Jerry Douglas Burroughs, 68, of Lexington, Virginia died Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his home.

Born February 16, 1952 in Welch, W.Va., he was a son of the late Kenneth Burroughs and Anna Katherine Corell Burroughs.

Jerry was a member of Lexington Presbyterian Church, and retired as a field engineer tech for Columbia Gas.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Burroughs; children, Brock Burroughs and fiancée, Sara Stephens, and Betsy Woody and husband, Will Woody; grandchildren, Parker Brooks Woody, Emma Wykle Woody and Avery Brynn Woody; aunt, Louise McGavock and husband, Jim; and brother-in-law, Robert Mauck and wife, Donna.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 25 at Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Kelly Ann Rayle officiating.
