Marie Tolley Pollard, 97, of Lexington, Virginia died Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Kendal of Lexington.

Born in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of Arch Morgan Tolley and Lillian Elizabeth Saville Tolley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Gillock Pollard.

Mrs. Pollard graduated from Lexington High School in 1942 and also graduated with her nursing degree from Radford Hospital. She was employed with Stonewall Jackson Hospital for many years, and also worked as a private duty nurse.

Surviving are her son, Ralph Gillock Pollard Jr.; and one granddaughter.

There will be no service at this time.
