John Ben Martinez, Jr., 54, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Lewis-Gale surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 25, 1966 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of John Ben Martinez, Sr. and the late Marion Florence Holmes Cash.

Survivors include his wife, Carla Jean Brown Martinez; daughters, Erika Martinez, and Deborah Hernandez and husband, Jason; step-sons, Kevin Noury, Jr., and Jeffrey Parker Brown; sister, Veronica McDermott and husband, Matthew; half siblings, Magdelina Martinez, Julie Bastos, Carlos Martinez, and Ricky Martinez; brother-in-law, Michael Linthicum; grandchildren, Eric Cintron, and Jayla Skye Ortiz; special nieces and nephews, Patrick, Cheryl, Steven, and Nicole, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Per his last wishes, John will be cremated and a memorial held at his homeplace at a later date.
