Obituary for Ona Jane Reynolds Ona Jane Reynolds
Covington Resident Was Retired CSX Transportation Clerk

Ona Jane Reynolds, 83, of Covington, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Peyton Hospice House, following a short illness.

Born June 24, 1937 at Sandstone, she was the daughter of the late Alton B. and Nancy Irene Lewis Bragg.

Ona was a retired clerk with CSX Transportation.

She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning and was an avid basketball and football fan.

She was preceded in death by two infant children, David Farrell Ward, and Carla Faith Ward, and three brothers, Gene Bragg, Rush Bragg, and Rhett Bragg, and three sisters, Mary Bragg, Myla Redden and Carol Graham.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Glenn Ward and wife, Stacie of Martinsville, West Virginia, Marlon Ward, and wife, Karen of Hot Springs, Virginia, and Stuart Ward and companion, Barbara Wolf of Covington, Virginia; and two daughters, Sherry Hart, and husband, Michael of Troutville, Virginia, and Pamela Madison of Clifton Forge, Virginia; one brother, Dick Bragg of Sandstone, and one sister, Chrystal Gowings of Lewisburg; and grandchildren, Amy DiGregorio and husband, Frank, Carson Ward, Christopher Young, Katie Wittrig, Adam Hart, Justin Callahan, Chad Ward, Jared Ward, Brittney Ward, Jamilynn Ward; 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Pivont Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kevin Cummings of Fincastle Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Bragg Cemetery, Sandstone.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at Pivont Funeral Home. Those attending should adhere to CDC guidelines, using face masks, and social distancing.
