Marie Johnson Wilhelm, 90, of Lexington, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020.

Born July 1, 1930 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late William Herman Johnson and Mabel Sophia Falls Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Winfred Wilhelm.

Marie was a member of the Faith Mountain Baptist Church, and retired from the Waddell Elementary School cafeteria.

Surviving are her children, Ronald W. Wilhelm (Diane) and Mary Linda Donald (Billy), both of Lexington; and four grandsons, Jason Wilhelm, Andrew Wilhelm, Nicholas Donald and Lucas Donald; four great-granddaughters; brother, Raymond Johnson (Doris); and special niece, Janet Entsminger.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 12, at New Monmouth Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. William Thomas officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Faith Mountain Baptist, 270 Valley Pike, Lexington, VA 24450 or to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
