Alan Wayne Bowes, 66, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Thursday, November 11, 2020 at his home.

Born January 25, 1954 at White Sulphur Springs, WV, he was the son of the late James Clarkson and Sarah Elizabeth Huffman Bowes.

Alan was retired from the City of Lewisburg Public Works Department as a Water Plant Operator.

His hobbies were watching tv and playing his playstation four.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Bill" Bowes and Dwight "Ike" Bowes and two sisters, Anna Bratton and Nina Bowes.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Wilma Quick Bowes, children, Allyson Renee Bowes (Garth Ghearing) of Michigan, Keith Alan Bowes of Lewisburg, WV and Kevin James Bowes (Ginny) of Deleware; brother, Joseph Huffman (Mary Lou) of Lewisburg, WV; sister, Delores Anita Sanford (Rick) of Lewisburg, WV; grandchildren, Andrew Bowes, Zefram, Kepler and Anora Ghearing; several nieces and nephews.

It was Alan's wish to be cremated. There will be no service.
