Albert Roy Edward Bowen, 72, of 104 Walton Church Lane in Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

Mr. Bowen was born July 20, 1948 in Clifton Forge, a son of the late Charles and Bessie Campbell Bowen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Bowen and Gary Bowen.

He was an employee of the former Lear Corp in Covington and had worked as a security guard for the Omni Homestead. He also retired from Bacova Guild and was a driver for the Hallcon Company transporting Engineers and Conductors.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Riddle Bowen of Clifton Forge; one brother, Steve Bowen and his wife, Barbara of Parkville, MD; three sisters-in-law, Christine Gammon, Sue Lindsey and Donna Simmons; two brothers-in-law, Michael Taggart and Raymond Taggart Jr.; several nieces and nephews and friends and Lil T (Tina).

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
