Obituary for Ralph William Flint Ralph William Flint
Mohawk Retiree Was Glasgow Baptist Church Member

Ralph William Flint, 88, of Natural Bridge, Virginia was called home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

He was born December 18, 1931, a son of the late Luther Flint and Hanna Moran Flint.

He is survived by Betty Thompson Flint, his loving wife of 69 years; his son, Michael Edward Flint; two very special grandchildren, Isaac Hunter Flint of Chesterfield and Katherine Frances Flint of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Mildred; and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph was a former member of Natural Bridge Baptist Church, where he spent many years serving the Lord in any capacity that he could, and is a current member of Glasgow Baptist Church where he was just as active.

He retired from Lees Carpets/Mohawk with 48 years of service.

A graveside service will be held to celebrate his life at Natural Bridge Baptist Cemetery at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, with Dr. Timothy Madison and Rev. Larry Ross officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450 or to Glasgow Baptist Church.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. William McClung and to Rockbridge Area Hospice.
