Obituary for Maxine Agnor Williams Maxine Agnor Williams
Covington Resident Dies At Age 90-

Maxine Agnor Williams, 90, of Covington, Virginia, died after a brief illness on December 4, 2020 in Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

Mrs. Williams was born April 9, 1930 in Augusta County Virginia, the daughter of the late Alfred Boyd Agnor and Susie Viola Smith Agnor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Katherine Meeks, Cornelia Lowman, Emily Saul, and Evelyn Scruggs.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Roy E (Eddie) Williams, Sr; two sons, Roy E Williams, Jr. of Redford, Michigan and Boyd A Williams of Ashburn, Virginia; three grandchildren, Cheri Morgan (Chris), Kaitlyn Rzucidlo (Jeff), and Parker Williams (Nick); four great-grandchildren Aiden Morgan, Kolton Adams, Karter Adams, and Oliver Starr; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Covington Rescue Squad, 435 W. Hawthorne, St. Covington, Va. 24426
