Janette Maxine Mook, 66, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away, Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Born February 18, 1954 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Oak Motton Smith and Frances Virginia Burch Smith.

Surviving are her husband, Dorman W. Mook Jr.; children, Lorrie Ann Mook (Nikki Pacheco), Amanda Gail Hartless, Dorman Wayne Mook III (Jessica), and stepson, Timothy Ray Martin; grandchildren, Mason Montgomery, Hailie Montgomery, Autumn Chittum, Ryan Chittum, Zachary Mook, Evan Mook, Brihanna Mook, Kevin Hunter L. Chittum; sisters, Wanda Seaman (Larry), Kathy G. Campbell (John Moore); brothers, Oak William Smith (Bobby Jo), and Jack Lester Smith.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 11 at The Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Buena Vista with the Rev. Robert Banks officiating.
