Obituary for Leonard Edgar Church Leonard Edgar Church
White Sulphur Springs Native Dies At Age 81

Leonard Edgar Church was born February 14, 1939 and entered into eternal rest December 7, 2020.

He was born in White Sulphur Springs and lived there until he came to live with his sister, Roxie Camp and then with Jane Feamster in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

He was the son of John A. Church Sr. and Lula Belle Sydenstricker.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Violet House Masters of White Sulphur Springs, and Carl N. Church, John Church, Jr., and Gene O. Church, all of White Sulphur Springs.

He is survived by four sisters, Lavina Mae Wylie, Roxie Nina Camp (Eugene), Florence Irene Masters, all of White Sulphur Springs, and Jane Feamster of Lewisburg.

He was at the Greenbrier Hotel for 47 years. He had polio at the age of three, but that didn't stop him from working later in life. He was of the Holiness and Baptist faith until his death. He was loved dearly by his friends and family.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home handled the arrangments.
