Elizabeth McCutcheon Nash departed this life December 10, 2020 in Buena Vista, Virginia.

She was born on June 20, 1924 in Rockbridge County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver B. Nash, and children, John H. McCuthcheon, James G. Nash and Catherine E. Nash, and brother, Willis McCuthcheon.

Left to mourn her loss are surviving children, Oliver L. Nash, Edith Nash Briggs and Robert A. Nash; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a loving daughter-in-law, Nora Nash; a devoted niece and nephew; and a host of family and friends.

She was a faithful and devoted member of Rising Zion Baptist Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers Club, Sunday school and the choir. She loved the Lord dearly and spent many of her last days singing hymns.

In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Rising Zion Baptist Church cemetery fund. Burial will take place at the cemetery and a celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
