Gladys Virginia Rogers, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

She was born in Rockbridge County on March 14, 1941 to Edward and Dorothy Virginia (Smith) Ferguson and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Buena Vista.

Gladys was a beloved resident of Buena Vista for the greater part of her life.

Gladys was the much-loved mother of Larry Keith Rogers and Lisa Patterson. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael Dudley, Dustin Whiteside, Brandon Rogers, and Brittney Rogers and great-grandmother of Kaleigh, Tinsley, and Zeava and dear sister of David Ferguson.

Private visitation for family will be held at Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Funeral Home at 2160 E. Midland Trail Buena Vista on Tuesday, December 22.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. W. David Bain officiating.

Social distancing and masks required.
