Gordon Ralph Hosey, 49, of 2028 S. Arden Ave., Covington, Virginia, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Lewis Gale-Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor.

Mr. Hosey was born September 17, 1971 in Covington, a son of Martha Ann Sorbara Hosey of Covington and the late Larry E. Hosey Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry E. Hosey Jr.

He was employed at Bacova Guild. He was also a member of the Living Word Assembly of God.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Bowen Hosey; a daughter, Stephanie McCummings and husband, Ronnie; a son, Stephen Hosey; two grandchildren, Alaric McCummings and Sophie Hosey; his fishing buddy, Richard Caldwell and a good friend Glenn Hiner, all of Covington.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Tremblay officiating.
