Grace Episcopal Church Member Was Natural Bridge Learning Center Teacher

Myra Marshall Brush of Lexington, Virginia, was born in Norfolk on September 28, 1937 to Edward V. Brush Jr. and Myra Marshall Brush, and died on December 18, 2020.

Myra was a graduate of St. Catherine's School in Richmond. She attended Longwood College, the University of Virginia School of Medical Technology, and received her degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. She taught at the Natural Bridge Learning Center for many years.

Myra was a member of Grace Episcopal Church where she served on the Vestry and the Altar Guild, and she was an active member of the Blue Ridge Garden Club and the Colonial Dames of America.

Myra is survived by her brother, Edward V. Brush III and wife, Katherine of Lexington; two sisters, Susan B. Croft and husband, Lawrence of Richmond and Mary B. Bass and husband, Lucien of Greenwood; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Connie Bryant, Nancy Byers and the staff of Havenwood for their kindness to and care of Myra during her illness.

Memorials may be made to St. Catherine's School or Grace Episcopal Church.

Services will be private. Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
