Annie Wilhelm Clark Bowen, 93, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at her home.

Born November 10, 1927 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Gardner Wilhelm and Laura Entsminger Wilhelm.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Roy Bowen Jr.

Annie was a member of the Lauderdale A. R. Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Victoria Clark; guardians, Betty Lou Duff and Brenda Wilhelm; several nieces and nephew; and special K9 friend, Bo. Special thanks to her caregivers and Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Hasting officiating. Social distancing and masks will be required.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Lauderdale ARP Church, 300 S. Main St., Lexington, VA 24450, or Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
