Obituary for Osborne (Ozzie) Aaron Hostetter Osborne (Ozzie) Aaron Hostetter
Collierstown Native Was Lifetime Member Of Lexington Baptist Church

Osborne (Ozzie) Aaron Hostetter, 83, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Kendal at Lexington (Virginia).

Osborne was born in Collierstown on August 22, 1937 to the late Arron Hostetter and Irene Bane Hostetter.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy E. Hostetter; son, Joey Hostetter and wife, Linda of Buena Vista; daughter, Karen Jackson and husband, Kirk of Collierstown; son, Jason Hostetter and wife, Jesse of Natural Bridge; and daughter, Joyce Clark of Lexington; and step-grandchildren, Ashley, Wyatt and Eli Conner.

He is also survived by a sister, Shirley Ann Snyder of Richmond; and niece, Lorie Sill of Hopewell; as well as special friend, Lowell Agnor of Buena Vista.

Osborne was a lifetime member of Lexington Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and usher. He spent his adult life as a meat cutter and as a custodian in the local school system. He loved camping, cruising and deep sea fishing.

A private graveside service will be at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. George Warden officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Staff Appreciation Fund at Kendal at Lexington to thank the tireless efforts of the compassionate nurses and CNAs that cared for Ozzie during the last months of his life. Cards and well wishes to any healthcare worker would also be appreciated during these especially difficult days.
