Obituary for Lavina Mae Wylie Lavina Mae Wylie
Former Telephone Operator Was White Sulphur Springs Native

Lavina Mae Wylie, 86, of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away, Thursday, December 24, 2020 at The Seasons Place, Lewisburg, WV.

Born October 11, 1934 in White Sulphur Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Anderson and Lula Bell Sydenstricker Church.

Lavina was a retired telephone operator.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sonne Wylie; brothers, John, Carl, Leonard and Bucky Church and a sister, Violet Masters.

Survivors include her daughter, Terri Wylie of Christiansburg, VA; her granddog, Chibbit; sisters, Roxie Camp (Eugene), Florence Masters, all of White Sulphur Springs, WV, and Janie Feamster of Fairlea, WV.

Graveside services will be Saturday, January 2, 2020 at the Whatcoat Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, WV with Pastor George Clarkson officiating.
