AT&T Retiree Was Lifelong Trinity United Methodist Church Member

Peggy Joyce Morgan Webb, 88, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at The Brier/Stonerise Lewisburg Nursing Home.

Peggy was born August 4, 1932 in Ronceverte, to the late Lonnie and Glenna Morgan.

Peggy retired from AT&T in 1987 after 20 years of service.

She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She sang in the church's choir for over 50 years, was involved in the church council, the finance committee, the lay leader committee, and member of United Methodist Women.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edwin P. Webb, a sister, Jean Michelinie, and a brother, Lonnie Morgan Jr.

Survivors include three daughters, Tina Watkins (Tommy) of White Sulphur Springs, Christy Ford (Glen), and Kendra Webb of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Brandon Watkins, Loren McMillion (Jeremy), Jessie Ford and Frank Ford. Peggy also had three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte with the Rev. Dr. Felica Wooten-Williams and the Rev. Mike Estep officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.

The family would like to send a special 'thank you' to the staff at The Brier/Stonerise Lewisburg Nursing Home.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks and social distancing are required while attending Peggy's visitation and services.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
