Covington Resident Worked With WalMart, Greenbrier Hotel

Ms. Sharon Faye May Bradley, 54, of Covington, Virginia, died Monday, January 4, 2021 at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.

Ms. Bradley was born July 1, 1966 in Covington, the daughter of Catherine Graham May and George W. May and wife, Verna.

She had been employed in the personnel department of Walmart in Covington for a number of years before beginning a new job in room service at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Recently baptized, Sharon became a member of Wild Meadow Baptist Church.

In her spare time, she was an avid reader, enjoyed painting, enjoyed shopping for shoes and pocketbooks and loved her yearly beach trip with her sisters and family. A loving mother, sister, daughter, friend and mawmaw, Sharon will be missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bradley is survived by a daughter, Tara Lynn Bradley and boyfriend, Chase Walton; a son, Austin Michael Holbert Bradley; two grandchildren, Isaac Rayhill Walton and Logan Walton; the father of her children, Robert Bradley; sisters, Patty Vail and husband, Wayne, Phyllis Brewster and husband, Jerry, Virgie Hoover and husband, David, Julie Gibson and husband, Timmy; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins; and beloved fur baby, Ruby.

Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by a brother, George Larry May; a nephew, David May, who was reared in the home.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the home of Tara Bradley or Robert Bradley.
