Obituary for Cardell Lewis Rosser Cardell Lewis Rosser
Rockbridge County Resident Was Outstanding Athlete

Cardell Lewis Rosser departed this precious life at Charlottesville (Virginia) Heart Transplant Medical Center on January 8, 2021.

Cardell was born August 10, 1987 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington.

He is the son of Laura L. Thompson and the late William (Bim) Spinner, and two beloved stepfathers, Thomas (TJ) Little, and Joseph Thompson.

Cardell had a smile that would light up your day. You never saw him with a frown on his face.

Cardell was an outstanding athlete. He excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. He was educated in the Rockbridge County school system, and went on to further his education at Grossmont College in San Diego, Calif.

He is surpassed in death by a cherished grandfather, who he loved very much, William (Bill) Spinner.

Leaving to cherish his beautiful memory: one loved and blessed child, Keyshawn Rosser, Mary Colucci (mother), of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Jonathan Langhorne of Lynchburg, and Thomas (JJ) Little Jr. of Glasgow; two grandmothers, Constance (Connie) Robinson of Glasgow, and Jean Spinner of Big Island; four aunts, Benita Fitz, Barbara Rosser, and Tonita Rogers, all of Glasgow, and Sherry Williams and husband, Douglass, of Danville; two uncles, Preston Little of Lynchburg, and Curtis Little, also godfather of Glasgow; three nephews, Jordan and Carter Langhorne of Lynchburg, and Adrian Cash Little of Buena Vista; two great aunts, Loretta Perkins of Lynchburg, and Joyce (Elaine) Carter, and husband, Jesse, of Glasgow; a very special friend, Ashley Riley; a god sister, Taniqua Early; and a host of family and friends, who loved Cardell very much.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 14 at Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
