Obituary for Lantie M. Cole, Jr. Lantie M. Cole, Jr.
White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Greenbrier Hotel Pump Operator

Lantie M. Cole, Jr., 60, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, January 10, 2021.

He was born in White Sulphur Springs on March 10, 1960, the son of the late Lantie M. Cole, Sr., and Nina Sue Dean.

Lantie enjoyed hunting, but lawn care and landscaping was another strong passion.

He spent 34 years working at the Greenbrier Hotel as a pump operator before leaving and working at Davis Stuart.

Above all, Lantie's true love was his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Sonja L. Cole; his daughters, Megan McCoy, Courtney Hudnall (Zackary), Lanti Cole (Steven); siblings, Robert Cole (Karon), Kathy Glover, and Lana Cole Massa; grandchildren, Ella McCoy, Finlee Hudnall, Cole McCoy, Raegan Hudnall, and expecting Xander Damon to make his arrival into the world any day; also surviving is his mother-in-law, Phyllis Sizemore (Gerald); father-in-law, Marshall Gabbert; sister-in-law, Tracy Persinger (Doug), and brother-in-law, Ray Gabbert (Dee).

Due to Covid-19 and Lantie's wishes, cremation will take place with a private celebration of life at Alleghany Memorial Park in the near future.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
