Roy McDaniel, 75, of Glasgow, Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021.

He was born February 18, 1945 in the original Stonewall Jackson Hospital, the son of the late Finley W. McDaniel and Ida Watkins McDaniel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Reatha McDaniel, and a brother, Harold McDaniel.

Mr. McDaniel retired from Mohawk Industries in 2009 as a senior IT systems engineer with 47 years of service. Surviving are his two sons, Richard McDaniel and Ronald McDaniel (Barbara); three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Moore.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Glasgow Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Larry Ross with burial to follow at the Broad Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
