Frederick Moore Jr., 76, of Raphine, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Augusta Medical Center.

Born November 10, 1944 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of Frederick Carlyle Moore Sr. and Ruby Frances Mohler Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter.

Mr. Moore was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and was a truck driver for Hostetter Excavating.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Horne Moore; children, Frederick Wayne Moore, Ruby Lee Moore and Carolyn Sue Knick; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 25 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
