Rosalya Mack Wiggins of Lexington, Virginia, received her heavenly wings and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Mrs. Wiggins was born on July 30, 1930 in Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Louise Osborne; her husband, Eben Wiggins; and her brother, Warner Mack.

Mrs. Wiggins had a fulfilling 45-year career as a social worker in New York City's Child Protective Services. After she retired, she relocated to Lexington and began a long and committed service as a trustee at First Baptist Church. She also served the community and was especially proud to serve on the Lexington Planning Commission and the Rockbridge Historical Society.

Mrs. Wiggins is survived by devoted cousins, Dorcus Payne and Pamela Haynes. She is also survived by many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, especially the Wooding family.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29 at the Evergreen Cemetery at 2 p.m. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
