Obituary for Betty Dean Bryant Betty Dean Bryant
Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church Member Was University Cleaners Retiree

Betty Dean Bryant, 80, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Born June 27, 1940 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Boyd William Bane and Nancy Hostetter Bane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Ollie Grant Bryant Jr., and a son, Ollie Dean Bryant.

Betty attended Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired in 2007 from University Cleaners.

She loved her family and every baby that came along.

Surviving are her children, Laurie Bryant Traywick (Zack) of Morganton, N.C., and Nancy Bryant Jackson (Daryl) of Badin, N.C.; siblings, Grace Roberts and Doris Warnasch, both of Texas, Barbara Rentz and Patti Carter of Lexington, Bucky Bane (Wanda) and Wanda Aldridge (Danny), both of North Carolina, and David Bane and John Hull, both of Lexington; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Bryant of Albemarle, N.C.; and many nieces andnephews.

A private graveside service will be at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. George Close officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450 or Kerrs Creek Volunteer Fire Department, 2880 W. Midland Trail, Lexington, VA 24450.
