Mrs. Brenda Teressa Walton Haynes, age 81, of Covington, Virginia, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at South Roanoke Nursing Home in Roanoke, VA.

Mrs. Haynes was born August 22, 1939 in Covington, the daughter of the late Raymond E. Walton and Mildred Linkswiler Walton.

She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at the former Tanglewood Manor.

Mrs. Haynes is survived by her husband, John David Haynes of Covington; a daughter, Teressa Graham Commerford of Calimesa, CA; and a sister, Judy Thompson of Covington.
