Dorothy Ann Arthur Shore, 78, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Born December 9, 1942 in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Frank Arthur and Eva Hicks Arthur.

Dorothy was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Columbia in Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Denver Louis Shore; and friend and companion, Emmett Falls.

Surviving are her four daughters, Gloria Johnson, Brenda Adcock, Naomi Clements, and Joyce Lineberg; special granddaughters and companions, Kelsie Campbell and Angel Cunningham; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 16 at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Dean Staton officiating. Masks and social distancing are required.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
