Charles Thomas (Tommy) Hartless, 79, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Alleghany Health & Rehab.

Born October 28, 1941 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Roy Thomas Hartless and Ellen Jane Gordon Hartless.

Tommy was a member of Ebenezer A. R. Presbyterian Church.

He was a three-star athlete at Lexington High School in football, basketball and baseball.

He was also preceded in death by sisters, Beatrice Jane Hostetter, Mary Ann Wheeler and Louise Sweet.

Surviving is his brother, Roy Leon Hartless of Pocatello, Ind.; and special friends, Freddie Potter and Dan Lawrence.

There will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ebenezer A. R. Presbyterian Church, 788 Ebenezer Circle, Lexington, VA 24450.
