Omar Lewis White was born on October 9, 1994 to Cassandra L. White of Charlotte, N.C., and Corey L. Dark Sr. of Richmond in Lexington, Virginia.

Omar was called by our heavenly father on February 9, 2021.

He was 26 years old.

He pushed his athletic boundaries and carved his name in football and also had a love for the basketball court. He found his love for football, starting with Rockbridge Area Recreation Organization (RARO), and AAU basketball. He played for both Rockbridge County High School's football and basketball teams (as #4 and #42) before graduating in 2014.

Omar enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as finding great opportunities to learn and expand his career goals to better himself and others.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Alice and James Wilson Hance, and his grandfather, Joseph "Joe" Lewis Peters.

Omar is survived by his parents, Cassandra White and Corey Dark Sr.; his wife, Justice Renee; five children, Myah Grace, Kingston Major, Ma'Raya Noel, Selah Rosa'Leigh and Lyric Santanna; his brothers, VoShawn, Terrance, Kyron, Devin, Malik and Corey Jr.; and sister, Saniyah.
