William (Bill) Lee Martin, 62, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his residence.

He was born May 6, 1958 in Hot Springs, Virginia, the son of the late Charles Arington Martin (deceased) and Charlotte Hazel Warwick Martin.

He retired from General Motors where he worked as a Supervisor in Michigan. When he moved to Hot Springs, he became a restaurant entrepreneur, owning and operating his own food truck.

Mr. Martin loved hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker who was always doing his own home improvements. He loved to work on cars.

When he lived in Michigan, he was a beekeeper, who taught himself the trade. He was loving father and grandfather.

In addition to his mother, Charlotte Martin of Hot Springs, he is survived by three children, Jeremiah Martin and wife, Laura of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Garrett Martin and wife, Jessica of Marshall, Michigan, Toby Martin of Florida; grandchildren, Louisa, Eian, Isabella and two additional grandchildren in Florida; two brothers, Phillip Martin and wife, Drema of Hot Springs, Richard Martin and wife, Wanda of Falling Springs, Virginia; two sisters, Gladys Martin of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, and Connie Martin of Covington, Virginia.

A Celebration of His Life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
