Larry Okey Gibson, 71, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, formerly of Rupert, passed away on Monday night, February 22, 2021 at CAMC General.

Born on November 8, 1949 in Hines, he was the son of the late James Eshmel Gibson and Marie Bertha Roman Gibson.

Larry was a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church of Kieffer where he loved to distribute tracts for the church.

He owned an electrical repair shop, worked as a vendor for Flowers Baking Company and owned a contracting business. He also loved older model vehicles and muscle cars.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue Ann Hall Gibson; sons, Larry Gibson of Vernon, New Jersey, Richard (Leigh) Tiller of Charleston, Wayne (Kristi) Tiller of Niceville, FL; sisters, Barbara (Luther) Trout of Rainelle, Patricia (John) Huffman of Fincastle, VA; brother, David (Reda) Gibson of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Laine, Reid and Colton.

Per his request, there will be no services.
