Obituary for Frances Mae Hostetter Frances Mae Hostetter
Lexington Resident Was Kerrs Creek Baptist Church Member

Frances Mae Hostetter, 90, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Havenwood.

Born September 15, 1930 in White Sulfur Springs, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Melvin C. Mines and Lillian Smith Mines.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Everett Hostetter; son, John Marshall Hostetter; and two grandchildren, Brian Michael Knick and Carrie Frances Knick.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Hostetter was a member of the Kerrs Creek Baptist Church. Frances loved working on the farm with her husband.

Surviving are her daughter, Wilma H. Knick (Raymond); and one grandson, Jeremy Knick.

A private family interment will be at the Kerrs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
