Obituary for Anna (Beth) Andrews Anna (Beth) Andrews
Covington Native Was Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Member

Mrs. Anna (Beth) Andrews, age 86, of Covington, Virginia, died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke.

Mrs. Andrews was born January 28, 1935 in Covington, the daughter of the late Burlen and Betty "Nana" Watson.

She attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the morning circle.

Most of all, Beth loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed all the time she got to spend with them. Beth also really enjoyed Sunday dinner with her extended family at Debbie Via's home.

Mrs. Andrews is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Hershel Andrews; a son, Butch Andrews and wife, Cricket; two grandchildren, Shannon Holloway and husband, Chris, Patrick Andrews and wife, Brooke; three great grandchildren, Christen Holloway, Maleah Holloway and Brett Andrews; a sister-in-law, Sandy Watson; two brothers-in-law, Mitchell Andrews and wife, Carol, Larry Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Allyson Andrews; her father and mother-in-law, Massie and Hattie Andrews; two sisters, Barbara Watson, Shirley Post and husband, Charles; her brother, Timmy Watson; and her sisters-in-law, Nellie Buchanan and husband, David, Charlotte Andrews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 9 East Church Ave., Roanoke, VA 24011.
