Lester Lee Beverly, 79, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his residence.

Born January 9, 1942 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Forest Beverly and Lula Tyler Beverly.

Lester was retired from Augusta Lumber.

He was a member of New Life Fellowship.

He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Beverly.

Surviving are his wife, Melinda Jean Beverly; daughter, Teresa Moyers and son-in-law, Mike; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Leslie Noel and wife, Joanne; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Steve Montgomery.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mike Moyers and Pastor Ray Burton officiating. Social distancing and masks are required.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
