Marlene Joyce Agnor, 84, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her home.

Born January 19, 1937 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late William Cross and Dorothy Ware Blackwell.

Marlene was a long-time member of Lexington Baptist Church.

She loved to sit down with a good book, and was an awesome cook.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years of marriage, Vernon Lowell Agnor; children, Kevin Agnor (Cindy), Clifford Agnor (Kathy), Kenny Agnor (Judy), Janet Wright (Mark) and Jackie Sandidge (David); six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Michael Saunders and the Rev. Delton Agnor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
