Jacqueline Sipes Nicely, age 70, of 3502 Douthat Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence.

She was born April 18, 1950 in Contra Costa County, California to the late J. D. Sipes and Maxine Coppedge Sipes.

She was a retail car manager for Alleghany Motors of Covington.

She enjoyed spending time with her two dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Ray Nicely, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Allan "Mike" French of Salem and Brian Rose and wife, Jeanne of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Dempsey Wayne Sipes of Concord, CA; and two granddaughters, Leah Rose and Anna Rose.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington, with Reverend Bill Hartsfield officiating. Interment will immediately follow. There will be no formal visitation. However, friends may call any time during normal business hours at Nicely Funeral Home.
