Waco Pipe Foreman Dies At Age 51

Mr. Charles Marvin (Virgil) Huddleston, III, age 51, of Covington, Virginia, died Monday, March 22, 2021 in South Chesterfield, Virginia.

Mr. Huddleston was born May 18, 1969 in Covington.

He was the son of Charles Marvin Huddleston, Jr. and Virginia Ann Crowder Huddleston.

He was employed as a pipe foreman by Waco, Inc.

Virgil was an avid reader and enjoying collecting many different items throughout the years.

A born again, spirit-filled Christian, Mr. Huddleston was a member of Word of Life Church. Virgil truly loved Jesus with all of his heart and had a beautiful singing voice especially when he was singing hymns. Most of all, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Huddleston is survived by a sister, Ginger Huddleston Lipes (Keith); nieces and nephews, Amber Lipes (Jeremy Worley), Aaron Lipes and Glen Lipes; an aunt, Virgie Treadway (Joe); and numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins including a special great nephew, Christian Lipes.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Low Moor.

The family will be present at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Christian Lipes, Keith Lipes, Joe Treadway, Jason Brackenridge, Melvin Campbell, Josh Campbell and Jeremy Worley.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to: Samaritan Purse/Donor Ministries, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
