She was born March 21, 1915 in West Union, Doddridge County, West Virginia.

On August 18, 1935 she married A. W. "Ham" Hamilton, who had come to West Virginia from Oklahoma. From this union came a son, Richard who resides in Sheridan, Wyoming. They came to Lewisburg in the late 1940's when Ham became manager of Morlunda Farms. Morlunda was a purebred Hereford farm then with field days, sales and parties.

Ham later became a national purebred Hereford and angus auctioneer. They then moved to Parkersburg, WV. In 1952 they returned to Lewisburg and built their home.

Due to Ham's traveling for business purposes, Naomi filled her life with golf and bridge. Ham was a director of the State Fair of West Virginia and enjoyed many hours in their box watching shows and harness racing. She rarely missed a show. She was very active as the years went by and traveled with Ham to various sales. She delivered mail at the then Greenbrier Manor.

Other hobbies enjoyed by Naomi were knitting sweaters, extensive needlepoint that included pillows, a rug and pictures she had framed, shopping and daily walks.

At the age of 100 she renewed her driver's licenses.

In 1994 she lost her husband and by 2018 needed assistance with daily living. At this point she entered an assisted living facility in Lewisburg.

In January 2021 she tested positive for COVID-19 after surviving this ordeal she was vaccinated and was doing great. In the early morning hours of March 21, 2021 the day of her 106th birthday, she passed peacefully in her sleep.

In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated with no services.
