Obituary for Lewis Blair (Pete) Masters Lewis Blair (Pete) Masters
Former Caldwell Resident Dies In North Carolina

Lewis Blair (Pete) Masters, 87, of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Caldwell, WV, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Born February 5, 1934 in Caldwell, WV, he was the son of the late Harlin Ray and Ada Lowe Masters.

Mr. Masters graduated from high school in White Sulphur Springs and shortly after he enlisted in the United States Army.

On July 2, 1953 he married the love of his life, Virgie Loudermilk Masters, and they spent the next sixty-one years together.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, and a sister, Irene Marie Woodrum.

Survivors include his sons, William "Bill" Masters and David Masters (Sheila), both of Wilmington, NC, Arthur Erskine (Karen) of Ronceverte, WV; one grandson, Joshua Masters of Wilmington, NC; sisters in law, Wanda Loudermilk, Isabel Morgan, Rachel Allen and brother-in-law, Eugene Loudermilk, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Organ Cave, WV, with Pastor Hat Defibaugh officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.

We will be following COVID-19 regulations and request all guests wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
