Julia Ann Sorrells, 56, of Vinton, Virginia, died Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born September 18, 1964 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Mary Ann White and the late Rudell Wayne White.

Julia was previously employed at Wachovia Banking.

She loved animals, especially cats, and also loved gardening, drinking coffee, reading and crocheting.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by husband, Jesse Darrell Sorrells; daughter, Jillian Sorrells (William Chambers) of Vinton; brothe,r Eric Wayne White of Natural Bridge; four nieces and nephews; and two great-nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Ave. SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.
