Obituary for Pauline Frederick Porter Pauline Frederick Porter
Lexington Resident Was Massachusetts Native

Pauline Frederick Porter of Lexington, Virginia, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1922. She was the second oldest child of Allen and Mina Frederick's 13 children.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Stanley Porter, and 10 of her siblings.

She is survived by a brother, Donald Frederick of Westport, Mass., and a sister, Anna (John) Beattie of Fall River, Mass.; her daughter, Sharyn Sexton, and son-in-law, Michael Sexton, lived in Lexington for the past 31 years, but recently moved to Roanoke. There are three grandchildren: Michael Sexton (Jenni) of Fairfield, Wayne Sexton (Shelley) of Lovettsville, and Pauline Lewis (John) of Greer, S.C. She was the proud great-grandmother of six great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Memorial donations may be sent to the Rockbridge Area Hospice.

The Harrison Funeral Home is handling all her arrangements, which will be private or by invitation.
