Tracy Edward Hamilton, 61, of Glasgow, Virginia, died on April 30, 2021.

He was born on April 11, 1960 in Buckhannon, W.Va.

Tracy was preceded in death by both his father, Willie Randolph Hamilton and mother, Betty Parker Hamilton.

Tracy was most recently a welder, but throughout his life he worked hard and learned how to build and repair just about anything. You could almost always find him "ciphering" on something.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Hamilton Farris and Janan Dale Hamilton.

Tracy is survived by his son, Travis Wayne Hamilton (Mary) of Hiddenite, N.C., and daughter, Brandi Hamilton Anthony (Joseph) of Statesville, N.C.; his brothers, Douglas Hamilton, Randy Hamilton and Phillip Camden of Buena Vista; sister, Sonya Hamilton Balser of Buena Vista; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will be invited for a celebration of Tracy on a date later to be determined, as he had requested no formal services. In the meantime, the next time you hear Tom Petty or have a Budweiser, we hope you think of Tracy with a smile.
