Jay Ray Henson, 89, of Lexington, Virginia, died Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Born May 6, 1932 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of Rudolph Henson and Lottie Wheeler Henson.

He served his country in the U. S. Army.

Surviving are his children, Theresa Henson Fitzgerald and Michael Ray Henson, and one grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, May 10 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Adam Williams.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
