Randy Lee Allen, 62, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg Hospital.

Randy was born April 25, 1959 in Rockbridge County, a son of Carl Kenny Allen and Gladys E. Allen.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Kenny Ray and Timothy Todd Allen.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Dedra Ann Allen (Jeffrey Turner); granddaughter, Alyssa Turner; one brother, Carl Richard "Ricky" Allen; two sisters, Patricia A. Johnson (Darrell) and Melissa Allen (Allen Austin, "Runt"), all of Rockbridge County; one very special pet dog, "Killer" that he loved; and two special friends, Jordon Clevenger and "Israel".

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 at Green Hill Cemetery by Pastor Jay Thorne.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buena Vista Rescue Squad. The family extends special thanks to them for their response to Randy on May 6, 2021.
