Jack Navon Brown, 83, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021.

Born August 10, 1937 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late James Homer Brown and Evelyn Bowen Brown.

Jack took pride and effort in his building trade. He had joy in his life, spending time at the ocean and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Gilbert Brown; brother, Don Brown; and sister, Janet Searcy.

Surviving are his children, Jay Brown (Sharon), Gail B. Angus (John), Jo Beth Brown, Josh Brown, and Renee Barton; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Brown (Margie).

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Butch Grow and the Rev. Sheldon Sorrels.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
