Mrs. Nancy Humphries Pearman, age 80, of Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Brian Center Nursing Care, Low Moor. She was the wife of Paul Lincoln Pearman, Jr.

Mrs. Pearman was born June 1, 1940 in Covington, the daughter of the late Lowell Edward Humphries and Flossie McDaniel Humphries.

She was employed as a secretary by Westvaco for a number of years before her retirement.

Nancy was a lifelong member of First Christian Church where she was an active member of the B-About Circle. Mrs. Pearman was also a member of the Professional Secretaries International and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and Mountain Regional Hospice. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Paul, Mrs. Pearman is survived by two sons, Lane Pearman and wife, Tammy; and Neal Pearman and wife, Teresa; two grandchildren, Emma Nicole Pearman, Hanna Elaine Pearman Lefever and husband, Brandon; two great grandchildren, Wyatt Lefever and Elliott Lefever; a brother, Mack Humphries and wife, Loretta; and an aunt, Ruth Watts.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at First Christian Church with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating, followed by a time of visitation and fellowship.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 9 East Church Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24011 or the Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street Ste 800, Miami, FL 33131.
