Antony Edward Jalink Sr., 56, of 428 Brentwood Drive, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his residence.

He was born May 3, 1965 in Newport News, a son of Rosie Pugh Evans and the late Antony Jalink.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Jalink in 2015.

He was an Electrical Engineer with BSU Inc. in Ithaca, NY.

He was a member of Kars Unlimited and the Corvette Club, enjoyed watching is favorite driver Jimmy Johnson in NASCAR as well as working with computers and going fishing.

In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated.

In addition to his mother, Rosie and her husband, Gary of TN, he was survived by his wife of 26 years, Penny Ballard Jalink of Covington; a son, Anthony E. Jalink Jr. and wife, Nicole; a daughter, Amber A. Jalink, all of Gloucester; a stepson, Dustin Bridges of Binghamton, NY; a stepdaughter, Brandy Miller and husband, Michael of Lisle, NY; five grandchildren, AshLynn Jalink, Adrianna Bercot, Peyton Miller, Colton Miller, and Trenton Miller.

A service will be held at a later date.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Mr. Jalink's name to Mountain Regional Hospice at P. O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
