David Clayton Shifflett III, 49, of Ronceverte, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his residence.

David was born November 4, 1971 in Ronceverte, the son of Kathleen "Kitty" Matherly Shifflett of Ronceverte and the late David C. Shifflett II.

David had been a chef with Pickaway Pickins and was on Greenbrier Bowling League.

Surviving is his mother, Kitty Shifflett; wife, Lisa Shifflett and their sons, David C. Shifflett IV and Teagan A. Shifflett, all of Florida; sister, Lora Shifflett Price (Wally) OF Cool Ridge, WV; brother, Scott Shifflett of Cool Ridge; nieces, Jamie Lynn Smith and Chyna Brooke Shifflett.

David's wish was to be cremated with a memorial service at a later date.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
